Busy, busy, busy!

I am still working on the short story, as well as AWTC, and am hoping that the short piece will be completed on my next day off of work.  Speaking of work, I started a new job and have been tweaking my schedule to accommodate being with my daughter in the mornings.  At least I no longer work until six a.m. and have to get up at eight a.m. anymore!

Also, I am still filing my taxes, and have been angry at them to an unhealthy degree.  I knew I should not have started my own business last year!

  1. Glad to see you pop your head back up, and yay! Looking forward to that story being finished 🙂

Hope the new job goes well and the tweaking works out well for everyone.

    1. Thank you, Cassie!

Don’t forget, I’m going to need your official review of the rough draft! LoL! Don’t worry, it doesn’t look like it’ll be too painful. It’s fast paced, filled with action, and laced with an element of horror. A great combination for science fiction, or so I think. 🙂

      1. I’ve been working on it a lot today, and I’m about to go up to the University with my wife. While she does her paintings, I’m going to play catch up!

Christa is sick today. I gave her three fourths a teaspoon of medicine, because she’s only two- she turns three in June- so I hope that she gets better soon. She sounds awful! She’s all sneezy and coughy and congested! It’s pretty pathetic! The medicine should kick in soon!

  2. Ohhh, taxes! This is why we pay an accountant. For the pure peace of mind. Hurl documents at accountant, flee, cheque arrives in mail.

    Ahhhhh.

Nice to see the writing progress! Good luck with the short 🙂

    1. True, taxes are loads of horrible. The closest thing to an accountant that I have is Turbo Tax!

Thanks! That means a lot, Merrilee. The short story is an intriguing idea, at least to me. Everyone else may think that its crap. Who cares, because I find it an interesting challenge and a glorious break from AWTC!
